Behind The Veil
Mariam Mendonça is a Dance Performer, Choreographer, Researcher and Amateur Writer who specialises in Oriental and Folkloric Egyptian Dance (Egyptian Bellydance).
She is the Dance Performer who is shaking the Bellydance scene with her unique and contagious style, bringing into scene her Dramatic, Joyful and Expressive performances which no one can stay indifferent to.

Mariam started her artistic training at the age of 3 with classical ballet and later completed her studies as an Actress, having as well an education as a Jazz Singer.
​
Mariam was the founder and director of the first Bellydance Magazine in Portugal, Raks.PT, and currently she is developing several dance projects and also Performing aboard.
